Blade Runner 2099 Amazon collection finds director in Recreation of Thrones’ Jeremy Podeswa

Amazon Prime Video is increasing the Blade Runner universe, and so they’re doing it along with Jeremy Podeswa.

Podeswa, a Recreation of Thrones alum, has signed on to direct the pilot of the streamer’s upcoming restricted collection Blade Runner 2099. The collection is alleged to be a sequel to the Blade Runner 2049 film, which in itself is a sequel to the unique Blade Runner film.

Podeswa can even function Blade Runner 2099’s producing director and govt producer. Becoming a member of him as an govt producer are showrunner Silka Luisa (Shining Women) and revered film director Ridley Scott. Michael Inexperienced (Logan) serves as author.

Blade Runner 2099 was first introduced in November 2021 and was in growth in February 2022. The collection was formally ordered in September 2022 however plot particulars are nonetheless saved beneath wraps.
